March favourites!

Yep, another "favourite products of the month" post, albeit a little late...

But anyways, onto the products:

Contour colour from Elf: finally, I can contour my cheekbones! And make it look natural, not like having two orange stripes in my cheeks, hooray!!! The orange blush, I'm not so fond of- but that's ok. This product is a keeper!

TBS eyeshadow in 04-Granite: an old favourite, this has been my everyday choice for a natural shading on my lids. Although now that it's been discontinued, I should probably save it until I find a good dupe...

Elf cream eyeliner in Coffee: ever since I got this product, I use it almost everyday. It's not the darkest brown eyeliner in the market but still, it's more than decent for the price ;)

Art Deco black eyeliner: this past month I made good use of my liquid liner for a quick and neat evening make-up look. Sometimes, messing around with eyeshadows can be so time consuming...

Apivita mask with Cucumber: the pink clay Apivita sachet I was using was drying out my skin, so I made a change to this moisturising mask; my skin is loving it and I'm never going back to clay masks!

What were your favourites during March?

  6. yes, yes, yes thumbs up for apivita's moisturising mask with cucumber! for a change i tried the korres moisturising mask with yoghurt( travel size) but it was nothing like the apivita's one!

eyeliner....oh i'm so jealous of you girls who manage to apply properly the eyeliner. can you tell me which is the easiest in use for an amateur :P ? the pot or the liquid eyeliner?

  7. @M3n!, clay masks can be beneficial on oily skin, as long as you're not using them after an abrasive scrub. Personally, I like to use my masks right after my Apivita olive scrub. I'm glad you liked the Korres soap!

@stella, oh yes, that's the principle behind this product: ripping-off Nars... I don't think the blush is close to Orgasm, but the bronze shade may be close to Laguna! See also:

@Demi, ha ha I love that they come in these "tester" sachets! That means I don't get bored of finishing a 50ml tube of face mask ;)

  8. @Beauty shades, the blush is a little powdery, the bronze colour is ok though ;)

@Argyro, that's great news! I thought that those shimmery versions of the Elf cream eyeliner weren't that good...

@evi, oh I feel exactly the same, sometimes the Korres products fail to amaze me as much as the Apivita ones... But the latter definitely need better (or more) advertising!

As for eyeliner, now that I've tried both options I can honestly say that the pot/cream eyeliner is much more easier to use- provided you use a good angled brush, though ;)

  13. clay mask do cause sensitivity i think. i have used a clarins one and omorovisza clay mask, and I have been witnessing the same effect. it is killing me around the nose cheecks and jaw every time.

the only clay mask that I have found not to cause this problem is Lancome's clay mask which is AMAZING but it costs 30 pounds here which is a lot for a mask

  14. That's good to know, I thought I was the only one experiencing dry patches with clay masks! Eh why bother with the Lancome mask, I would get bored of finishing a big tube anyways...
