13 questions tag

Hi girls!!!!!
How you've been?

God, it's been ages since my last post, I've missed you guys!

Since I was away for Easter, I've been having some serious trouble with my 3G Internet service...
Thank goodness, I'm back to my home computer and I can blog as normal!

I now have to catch up with bloggers posts, comments, etc.-
so I'm starting out with this "13 questions tag" by Argyro.
Thanks for tagging me, girl!

1. What do you order at Starbucks? I used to be a Starbucks fanatic, but I'm not anymore; back in those days, I would order a skim milk latte and a cinammon roll ;)

2. What's one thing in your wardrobe that you cannot live without? Boyfriend jeans!

3. What's one thing that most people probably wouldn't know about you? I have a teeny tiny star tattoed on my wrist...

4. Name one thing that you want to do before you die. Honestly speaking, I'd love to learn how to stay happy at all life's turnings.

5. What's one food that you cannot live without? Pasta!!! I could practically eat tomato&basil spaggeti every single day!

6. What quote/phrase do you live your life by? μέτρον ἄριστον, or moderation is best.

7. What do you like and dislike about the blogging community? Needless to say, I love communicating with girls from around the world that share the same interests with little me, like beauty and makeup! I don't particularly like it when some girls maintain a beauty blog only to be sent free products.

8. What's your number one most listened to song on iTunes? this one:

9. What kind of style would you define yourself as having? I don't have a "fixed" style; if I had to describe it, I would say "modern eclectic with an edge".

10. Favorite number. 3

11. Two hobbies. Exploring downtown Athens and reading Sunday's newspapers.

12. Two pet peeves. 1: People touching with their used fork every piece of lettuce in a salad shared by everyone on the table. I'm sorry but I don't want to taste your saliva! 2: Grown men who wear plastic flip flops in places other than the beach. Don't do it guys, it's not pretty...

13. Guilty Pleasure. Jersey Shore. Need I explain myself?

MY BITCH!

You are ALL tagged, my lovely readers!
Especially the 12th question, I'm dying for your answers on that one ;)
If you don't have a blog, you can answer at the comments section below. Please do!

I'm off for a beer with some friends...
See you again tomorrow!

Korres haul

So yesterday I was strolling around Hondos Center-

and naturally enough, I couldn't leave the place without doing some little shopping to cheer up my moods ;)

This time, I headed to Korres:

Wild Rose face cream: after feeling terribly bad for not using a daily moisturiser with SPF, I thought of making a nice and mild introduction to SPF with this moisturiser, which has an SPF 6. As you can see, the packaging has changed- for the better, IMO. What do you girls think?

Mandarin lip butter in Purple: having now tried all 13 lip butters by Korres, I can conclude to my favourites: Jasmine in the pot, Pink and Peach in the tube form ;)

Thyme Honey cleansing scrub+mask: after using a couple of products marketed to normal/dry skin and liking them a lot, it was a nice opportunity to make a little break from my Apivita olive scrub and express masks with this duo... We'll see how they work on my combination skin!

Honeysuckle hand cream: this was a rather impulse buy; it reminisced of the aroma of honeysuckle flowers that my dad used to bring us every week when I was little... <3 <3 <3

It all cost me around 30E-
heck, brands like Mac may be pricier in Greece,
but we always have good ol' Korres to splurge on without guilts!!!

So, have you tried any of these products?
Which are your favourites from Korres?

March favourites!

Yep, another "favourite products of the month" post, albeit a little late...

But anyways, onto the products:

Contour colour from Elf: finally, I can contour my cheekbones! And make it look natural, not like having two orange stripes in my cheeks, hooray!!! The orange blush, I'm not so fond of- but that's ok. This product is a keeper!

TBS eyeshadow in 04-Granite: an old favourite, this has been my everyday choice for a natural shading on my lids. Although now that it's been discontinued, I should probably save it until I find a good dupe...

Elf cream eyeliner in Coffee: ever since I got this product, I use it almost everyday. It's not the darkest brown eyeliner in the market but still, it's more than decent for the price ;)

Art Deco black eyeliner: this past month I made good use of my liquid liner for a quick and neat evening make-up look. Sometimes, messing around with eyeshadows can be so time consuming...

Apivita mask with Cucumber: the pink clay Apivita sachet I was using was drying out my skin, so I made a change to this moisturising mask; my skin is loving it and I'm never going back to clay masks!

What were your favourites during March?

Spring haul

Over the past few days I did some spring-appropriate make-up shopping!
Here's what I got:

Mac pro eye makeup remover: I opted for this water-based solution, since my previous dual-phase remover by Bourjois made my eyelashes fall in triplets! AND it caused me some nasty milia spots...

TBS Moisture Foundation SPF 15: I couldn't tolerate any longer my oil-free foundation by TBS, so it was a good chance to try out a different formula. This one promises light to medium coverage with a dewy finish. We shall se how it performs on my combination skin ;)

Radiant lip pencil in 06-Salmon: I'm in LOVE with this shade! A bright lemonade pink, that's how I would describe it- not exactly coral, not thoroughly pink... Am I making any sense here? I pair it with Elf's Hypershine gloss on top and it instantly brighens up my complexion! Oh, and it glides beautifully on the lips. I highly recommend it!

TBS Metallic eye definer in Glowing Amethyst: I was partly dissapointed in this eye pencil; the colour is gorgeous but sadly it doesn't show up on the waterline, if worn alone. However, I can make it work on top of a black kohl pencil.

TBS Baked eye colour in Jade: these two shades are a combination of green with blue hues and let me tell you, if you're brown eyed like me, these colours are bound to make your eyes pop! I can see myself using it a lot during summer...

Have you done any spring make-up shopping recently?

Oh and by the way, does anyone know whether Mac skincare items are eligible for the Back-2-Mac programme?
